Speaking & Facilitation
Conversations that invite reflection, connection, and meaningful change.
I offer warm, grounded speaking and facilitation for organizations, leadership groups, universities, community spaces, retreats, and events.
My work brings together professional knowledge, lived experience, thoughtful reflection, and practical tools that people can carry with them long after the session ends.
Whether I am delivering a keynote, guiding a leadership conversation, or facilitating an interactive experience, my intention is the same: to create a space where people can pause, feel more connected, and leave with something meaningful to take into their real lives.
Grounded, Honest, and Human
I do not believe meaningful learning happens when people are simply talked at.
I create experiences that invite people to pause, reflect, and connect what they are hearing to their own lives.
My facilitation style balances depth with warmth, structure with flexibility, and meaningful reflection with practical takeaways.
People leave with more than information.
They leave with language for what they may be carrying, greater awareness of how they relate to themselves and others, and tools that can support real life.
This work is never about forcing vulnerability or asking people to share more than feels right.
It is about creating enough safety for people to engage in ways that feel honest, useful, and respectful.
Topics We Could Explore Together
Self-Awareness and Emotional Intelligence
Helping people recognize inner patterns, emotional signals, and the ways they relate to themselves and others.
Stress, Burnout, and Nervous System Support
Exploring how stress lives in the mind and body, while offering practical ways to recognize overload, restore capacity, and respond with more care.
Leadership With Presence and Humanity
Supporting leaders to bring steadiness, emotional awareness, reflection, and care to the way they lead through challenge and change.
Belonging, Inclusion, and Psychological Safety
Creating more human environments where people feel seen, respected, and able to participate as themselves.
Embodiment and the Wisdom of the Body
Simple, accessible ways to reconnect with the body, understand stress responses, and listen more closely to what the nervous system may be communicating.
Boundaries, Capacity, and People-Pleasing
Supporting people to care for others, meet responsibilities, and stay connected to themselves without abandoning their own needs.
Every speaking engagement is created collaboratively.
I would be glad to learn about your audience, your goals, and the kind of experience you hope to create. From there, we can shape a talk, facilitated conversation, or interactive session that feels meaningful, relevant, and grounded in the realities of your group.
Experience That Shapes My Work
My work has been shaped by years of supporting people across different settings.
Before founding Kind Therapy Ottawa, I spent five years supporting students at the University of Ottawa through individual support, workshops, and community-based programming. I also created a 2SLGBTQI+ support group and community space.
My 21 years of service in the Canadian Navy also shaped the way I understand leadership, integrity, responsibility, resilience, and the quiet strength that can emerge when people are supported through challenge.
These experiences continue to influence how I facilitate: with steadiness, warmth, respect, and a deep belief in people’s capacity to grow.
