Breathwork
A gentle, body-led way to reconnect with yourself.
Sometimes, words can only take us so far.

Breathwork offers another way of listening: through the body, the breath, sensation, emotion, and the quieter layers of your inner world.

This is not about intensity, force, or pushing through.
It is an invitation to slow down, settle into your body, and meet yourself with more presence, curiosity, and care.
Breathwork Rooted in Safety, Choice, and Care
The breathwork I offer is informed by the Double Helix Integrative Breathwork approach.

This practice is centered on your safety, pacing, and choice. Rather than asking you to push toward a breakthrough or force an emotional release, we listen carefully to what your body and nervous system may be communicating.
Your breath can slow down.

You can pause.
You can change position.
You can choose not to continue.
You remain in control throughout the experience.

Together, we create a gentle, supported space where you can reconnect with your inner world at a pace that feels manageable for your nervous system.

Music and sound may also be woven into sessions with care and intention. They can offer rhythm, emotional resonance, and a sense of support as you move through the experience.

This is not cathartic breathwork.

It is not about pushing past your limits or seeking an intense emotional release.

It is about creating the conditions for your body to feel safe enough to soften, respond, and let go in its own time.
What a Private Breathwork Session Can Look Like
Before
During
After
We begin with a grounding conversation.

There is time to check in with how you are arriving, what you are noticing in your body, and what feels important to hold with care that day.

Together, we set a gentle intention for the session and make sure you feel informed, supported, and able to choose what feels right for you.
Guided by your own breath, you are invited into a slower, more inward space of awareness.

This is a body-led process, which means we follow your pace. You may notice sensations, emotions, images, memories, stillness, or simply a deeper sense of rest.

There is no right experience, and nothing needs to be forced.
We close by gently returning to the present moment.

There is time to rest, reflect, and integrate what you noticed. You may choose to share, write, sit quietly, or simply allow the experience to settle.

The intention is that you leave feeling grounded, supported, and with a little more room inside yourself.
What Breathwork May Support
Breathwork is a gentle, trauma-aware practice that can offer another way to listen to your inner landscape with choice and care.

Every experience is different. Some sessions may feel subtle and grounding. Others may bring emotion, clarity, insight, or a quiet sense of connection.

The purpose is not to force a particular outcome. It is to create a supported space where your body and inner world can be met with more presence.
Reconnect With Your Body
Gently move from living on autopilot toward a steadier, more compassionate relationship with your body, sensations, and inner signals.
Create More Space
Soften the emotional or physical tension you may have been carrying, allowing room for lightness, rest, and ease to emerge.
Support Nervous System Regulation
Practice settling, grounding, and noticing what helps your system feel safer when you are overwhelmed, alert, or shut down.
Deepen Emotional Awareness
Create a softer landing place for emotions, making space to notice and process what may be present without judgment or pressure.
Move Beyond Your Head
Step out of overthinking and into a more present relationship with your breath, body, and lived experience.
Support Integration
Bridge the space between insight and everyday life, helping you weave what you notice into your relationships, choices, and care for yourself.
Breathwork is not a replacement for psychotherapy, medical care, psychiatric care, or crisis support. It can be a meaningful complementary practice when it feels safe, appropriate, and supportive for you

Please note: Breathwork sessions are not psychotherapy and are not eligible for psychotherapy insurance receipts or reimbursement.
You May Feel Drawn to Breathwork If You...
-
Have been carrying so much for so long that your body feels tired in ways you cannot fully explain.
-
Move through your days doing what is expected of you while feeling disconnected from yourself.
-
Notice numbness, emotional emptiness, or a sense that joy has become harder to reach.
-
Long for rest, but find it difficult to slow down without guilt, worry, or overwhelm.
-
Have learned to be strong and steady for everyone else while feeling unsettled or lost inside.
-
Feel held back by old patterns that once protected you, but now leave you feeling drained.
-
Sense that something in your life wants to shift, even if you cannot yet name exactly what that is.
-
Long for a deeper connection with yourself, your needs, and what matters most to you.
-
Want a space that honours your mind, body, heart, and lived experience.

You do not need prior experience with breathwork, meditation, or body-based practices.

Curiosity and a willingness to listen inwardly are enough.
Private Breathwork Intake
Virtual | 30 minutes

A gentle first step before beginning individual breathwork.
Before beginning individual breathwork, we start with a dedicated intake session.
This gives us time to talk about what is drawing you to this work, explore your health history and current supports, and consider what may help you feel safe, informed, and supported.

Together, we decide whether breathwork feels appropriate for you at this time and what kind of pacing may feel most respectful of your nervous system.
Ways to Experience Breathwork
Individual Breathwork Sessions
Virtual | One-to-one

A private, supported space to slow down, listen inwardly, and explore at your own pace.
Individual sessions offer a spacious, virtual one-to-one experience shaped around your needs, readiness, and pace.

There is room for breath, body awareness, emotion, stillness, reflection, and integration, without needing to force a particular outcome.

These sessions are for people who want a more personal, supported way to reconnect with themselves.
Small Group Breathwork
In person | Small, intentional groups

A shared practice held face to face, with space for grounding, reflection, and connection.
Small group breathwork offers the support of shared presence while continuing to honour individual choice, pacing, and boundaries.

These gatherings include guided breath, grounding, reflection, and opportunities to reconnect with yourself alongside others.
Group offerings are released periodically and held in small, intentional groups.
Safety, Readiness, and Informed Consent
Your safety and wellbeing come first.

Because breathwork works directly with the body and nervous system, it is important that we approach it thoughtfully, with clear information, ongoing consent, and respect for your lived experience.

Before participating in breathwork, we take time to review your health history, emotional readiness, and current supports. This helps us decide whether breathwork feels safe, appropriate, and supportive for you at this time.

Breathwork may need to be modified, postponed, or may not be suitable for people experiencing certain medical or mental health concerns, including severe cardiovascular conditions, a history of seizures, unmanaged high blood pressure, acute psychiatric distress, or significant dissociation. Pregnancy and other health considerations may also require modification or postponement.

This does not mean breathwork will never be an option for you. Sometimes it simply means that a different pace, approach, or form of support may be more appropriate right now.

Informed consent is ongoing. You are always welcome to ask questions, share concerns, and communicate what you are noticing. You remain in control of your breath, your pace, and your participation throughout the session. You may pause, adjust, or stop at any time.

Breathwork is not a replacement for medical care, psychiatric care, crisis support, or psychotherapy. It is offered as a complementary practice that may support awareness, regulation, and integration.

If breathwork is not the right fit, I will prioritize your safety and, where appropriate, help you consider other supportive options.
Healing is not about doing more.

It is about listening to what your system can safely receive.
There Is Nothing You Need to Force
Beginning breathwork is a choice to slow down and listen.
Whether you are seeking a deeper sense of presence, support for your nervous system, or a gentle way to reconnect with yourself, you are welcome here exactly as you are.
